Appearance

Males display a vivid yellow body with a flowing yellow caudal fin that fans out gracefully — warm, bright, and eye-catching. The platinum element adds a soft iridescent sheen across the scales that shifts subtly under different lighting conditions. Females are larger-bodied with a pale platinum-white colouration and softer yellow tones, providing a beautiful contrast to the males. Both sexes glow warmly against dark substrates and green planted backgrounds.

Diet & Feeding

Breeding

Livebearers that breed readily. Females give birth to live fry every 4–6 weeks. Fry will develop yellow and platinum colouration as they mature. Provide floating plants or a breeding box to protect fry from adults.
