Appearance

Spathiphyllum wallisii displays broad, lance-shaped to oval leaves in a rich, glossy deep green with prominent veining. Under good conditions, the plant produces distinctive white spathe flowers — a single white bract surrounding a pale spadix — that add an additional ornamental quality to the display. Planting & Placement

Can also be grown as a houseplant with roots trailing into an aquarium sump or overflow. Note: Spathiphyllum is not a true aquatic plant and should not be fully submerged — the leaves must remain above water.
