Tank & Setup Tips

Roseline Sharks are schooling fish and must be kept in groups of 6 or more to feel secure and display their best behaviour. They are powerful swimmers that need a large tank of at least 75 gallons with plenty of open swimming space. Moderate to strong water flow replicating their natural river habitat is highly beneficial.

Aquascape with smooth rocks, driftwood, and hardy plants (they may nibble on delicate species). A tight-fitting lid is essential — Roseline Sharks are known jumpers, especially when startled.

Feeding

Omnivorous and easy to feed. Accept high-quality sinking and floating pellets, flakes, frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, and blanched vegetables. Feed a varied diet once or twice daily for optimal colour and health.

Compatible Tank Mates

Excellent community fish for larger aquariums. Ideal tank mates include larger tetras, rainbowfish, angelfish, gouramis, and other robust mid-to-upper water column species. Avoid very small nano fish that may be intimidated by their active swimming.
