Appearance
The Marbled Angelfish displays an irregular, flowing marble pattern of black, white, silver, and gold across the body and fins. The marble gene creates a naturally varied, organic pattern where no two fish are identical — each specimen is a unique work of natural art. The bold contrast between the dark and light areas of the marble pattern creates a striking, graphic appearance that is both classic and endlessly varied. The tall, flowing fins and laterally compressed body give this fish its iconic angelfish silhouette.

Best kept with similarly sized, peaceful fish. Good tank mates include larger tetras, Corydoras, gouramis, and peaceful cichlids. Avoid very small fish and aggressive fin-nippers.
Breeding
Angelfish are open spawners and breed readily in captivity. Pairs form strong bonds and spawn on broad plant leaves or flat surfaces. Eggs hatch in 48–60 hours and fry become free-swimming within a week.
The Marbled Angelfish is a timeless classic — naturally artistic, endlessly varied, and always beautiful. A perfect centrepiece fish for any large community aquarium.
