Appearance

The Green Angelfish displays a silvery base body overlaid with a soft green iridescence that catches the light with every turn. The tall, sail-like dorsal and ventral fins and the classic disc-shaped body make this one of the most recognizable freshwater fish in the hobby. Under proper lighting and against a dark substrate or lush planted backdrop, the green shimmer becomes truly spectacular.

• Staple: High-quality flake food, pellets, and angelfish-specific foods

Feed 2–3 times daily.

Compatibility & Tank Mates

Best kept with similarly sized, peaceful fish. Excellent tank mates include larger tetras, Corydoras, gouramis, and peaceful cichlids. Avoid very small fish and aggressive fin-nippers.
