Special Notes for Aquarists
- Crypt Melt: Like most Cryptocoryne, it may melt when first introduced or after sudden parameter changes. Don't discard it — the healthy root system will push out new, acclimated leaves within a few weeks.
- Stability: Prefers stable water conditions. Avoid relocating it once planted.
- Patience: A slow grower that rewards a settled, mature tank with dense, textured growth.
- Visual Appeal: The finely embossed leaves add depth and contrast against smooth-leaved plants like Anubias.
