Appearance

Corydoras leucomelas displays a pale silver to cream body with irregular dark spots and mottling across the body and fins, creating a distinctive spotted pattern that gives it its common name. A bold dark blotch on the dorsal fin is a characteristic feature. Their armoured body, whiskered snout, and active foraging behaviour give them the endearing character typical of all Corydoras species.
