Appearance

The Julii Cory displays a pale silver to cream body covered with fine, irregular dark spots and a bold dark lateral stripe running from the snout to the caudal fin. Their armoured body, whiskered snout, and active foraging behaviour add to their endearing character.

Compatibility & Tank Mates

Best kept in groups of 6 or more. Excellent community fish. Good tank mates include tetras, rasboras, livebearers, gouramis, and dwarf shrimp. Avoid aggressive fish or large cichlids.

Breeding

Julii Corys breed readily in captivity. A water change with slightly cooler water often triggers spawning. Females deposit eggs on plant leaves or glass. Eggs hatch in 3–5 days.

The Julii Corydoras is a timeless classic — spotted, peaceful, and endlessly entertaining. Keep them in a group and enjoy their lively, social behaviour every day.
