The Venezuelan Black Corydoras displays a deep, dark olive-black to near-black body with a beautiful blue-green iridescent sheen that shimmers under aquarium lighting. The dark colouration and iridescent sheen make this one of the most visually striking Corydoras species available. Their armoured body, whiskered snout, and active foraging behaviour give them the endearing character typical of all Corydoras, with a bold, dramatic visual impact.
