Blackline Tail Tetra (moenkhausia costae)

A rather active tetra species, like most tetras; the Blackline Tail Tetra is an shoaling/schooling type of tetra and tend to display more natural instincts when they are in groups of 6+.
Depending on your aquarium size, it is recommended to either keep them in a long and shallow tank as opposed to tall and narrow aquarium.
Fairly easy tetra to take care of and readily takes commercial feeds like hikari micropellets or biocom community pellet.
