Appearance
The Flame-Red Dwarf Gourami displays a vivid, intense flame-red to deep red colouration across the entire body — one of the most saturated and uniform red colourations achievable in a small gourami. The long, thread-like pelvic fins trail gracefully below the body. Males display the most intense red colouration, which is most vivid in well-conditioned fish under good aquarium lighting. The flame-red body creates a fiery, dramatic presence that makes this fish an instant focal point in any planted tank.

Compatibility & Tank Mates
Excellent community fish. Good tank mates include small tetras, rasboras, Corydoras, and Neocaridina shrimp. Avoid aggressive fish or fin-nippers. Keep one male per tank to prevent territorial disputes.
Breeding
Bubble nest builders. Males construct a floating bubble nest and court females. Eggs are deposited in the nest and guarded by the male. Fry hatch in 24–48 hours.
The Flame-Red Dwarf Gourami is a fiery and vivid fish that brings intense red colour and gentle personality to any planted aquarium. A perfect and eye-catching centrepiece for nano and community tanks alike.
