The Halfmoon Betta (Betta splendens) is the gold standard of the hobby — named for its spectacular tail that fans out to a perfect 180-degree spread, forming a flawless semicircle of flowing colour. Each male is a hand-selected individual from our current stock, available in a wide range of colour morphs spanning rich solids, vivid bi-colours, and iridescent multicolours.

Sold as assorted colourations across two series (R and S). The fish you receive will be a healthy, conditioned male chosen from our live stock at the time of your order.

Care at a Glance

• Tank size: Minimum 10 gallons recommended for a single male
• Temperament: Solitary — males must be kept alone or with peaceful, non-fin-nipping tankmates
• Diet: Carnivorous — high-protein pellets, frozen bloodworms, daphnia, and brine shrimp
• Flow: Low — strong currents can stress and damage delicate finnage
