Why Tissue Culture?

Tissue culture plants are propagated in sterile laboratory conditions, making them completely free of algae, snails, parasites, and pathogens. This makes them the safest choice for shrimp tanks, sensitive fish communities, and established planted aquariums where introducing pests would be a serious concern.

Appearance

Bacopa Compact 'White' produces small, rounded leaves arranged in neat opposite pairs along compact, upright stems. The foliage is a fresh, bright green that remains tidy and low-growing under good lighting. Planting & Placement

Trim regularly to maintain compact, bushy growth and encourage branching. Replant healthy cuttings to fill in gaps. Ideal for foreground and midground positions in aquariums of 20 litres or more.

Compatibility

Compatible with all freshwater fish and invertebrates. Safe for shrimp tanks. Avoid housing with herbivorous fish that may graze on the soft stems. Pairs beautifully with carpeting plants, mosses, and fine-leaved stem plants for a layered, natural aquascape composition.
