The Atabapo Altum Angelfish is immediately recognizable by its extraordinary height — the dramatically elongated dorsal and anal fins can reach up to 20 inches from tip to tip, making this the tallest freshwater aquarium fish available. The body displays the classic Altum pattern — a silver to pale gold base with three bold dark vertical bars and a distinctive notch above the mouth that is unique to P. altum.
