Appearance

The Albino Cory displays a pale white to pinkish body with characteristic red eyes of the albino form. Their armoured, scaleless body, whiskered snout, and active, waddling swimming style give them a charming, endearing character. Under aquarium lighting, their pale body can take on a subtle pearlescent sheen that makes them stand out beautifully against dark substrates.

Breeding

Albino Corys breed readily in captivity. A water change with slightly cooler water often triggers spawning. Females carry fertilized eggs and deposit them on plant leaves or glass. Eggs hatch in 3–5 days.
