Under aquarium lighting, the vivid orange and blue-black stripes create a bold, graphic display.

Compatibility & Tank Mates

Males can be aggressive toward each other and may harass smaller or slower fish. Best kept with robust, similarly sized tank mates. Avoid very small fish or long-finned species. Keep one male per tank unless the aquarium is very large.

Breeding

Bubble nest builders. Males construct a large floating bubble nest and court females aggressively. Eggs are deposited in the nest and guarded by the male. Fry hatch in 24–48 hours.

The Tiger Paradise Gourami is a bold and striking fish that brings vivid tiger-like colour and lively personality to any aquarium. Hardy, colourful, and always impressive.
