El Silverado Endler — A Rare Wild-Type Endler’s Livebearer
The El Silverado Endler is a captivating and relatively rare strain of Endler’s Livebearer (Poecilia wingei), named after its collection locality in Venezuela. Known for its striking metallic silver and black patterning on the males, the El Silverado is a favourite among Endler enthusiasts and livebearer collectors who appreciate the natural beauty of wild-type and locality-specific strains over heavily hybridised fancy varieties.
Wild Beauty in a Nano Package
Male El Silverado Endlers are small but visually spectacular — their compact bodies display bold contrasting patches of silver, black, and often iridescent green or orange, depending on the individual. Like all Endlers, they are active, curious, and constantly on the move, making them endlessly entertaining to watch in a well-planted nano aquarium. Females are larger and more subdued in colour, playing a vital role in any breeding setup.
Available Options
- Male — $6.00: Full El Silverado colouration and patterning
- Female — $6.00: Larger bodied, subtler colouration; essential for breeding
- Pair — $10.00: One male and one female
