Currently one of the smallest known corydoras available, Corydoras pygmaeus is an interesting nano sized corydoras that will tend to hover above the substrate if you have tetras that look simliar in apperance!
Found in schools of up to a couple thousand at a time in the wild, they are fairly established within the aquarium trade and are completely harmless to shrimplets!
suggested group size is anywhere from 6 and up ward!
Like all corydoras, they do seem to prefer sand however pea gravel or seachem flourite is suitable as well. Only keep in mind they will need to readjust themselves to more sharp edged substrates like seachem flourite.
